Worthing seafront has lots of spaces to walk, cycle and there’s even an outdoor exercise area and a sandy children’s play area.

But…there are no designated flat smooth level areas for roller skaters to skate on. There is now ever growing community of roller skaters in worthing and we would love to see a space developed into a safe area for skaters and the public. 

It would be a great area to also encourage different styles like skate dance / slalom /artistic skating and learning to skate in a safe environment.

There are skate parks but they are unsuitable for us skaters as not enough space for bladders and roller skaters to freestyle as we would be in the way of BMX stunt riders and skate boarders. It’s an accessible hobby and cheap to do and fun for all ages!
